Welcome to the SOS Fund "Wear Camo" Desert Camouflage
wristband Campaign. Thanks to thousands of patriotic Americans like
you, the SOS Fund wristbands are quickly becoming one of the most popular
wristbands in America.
The
SOS Fund was founded in March 2004. The initial mission was to bring
attention to Americans the trauma suffered by the families of the troops
killed in the War on Terror. We wanted to point out their plight at
having to dealing with, not only an emotional loss, but also with financial
distress as well.
Partly
as a result of our SOS Fund national ad campaign in the form of Public
Service Announcements, the SOS Fund has made a tremendous impact on
how the families of our fallen heroes are taken into account. We believe
that the SOS Fund is one of the reasons the Federal Government has recently
proposed legislation granting the families much needed financial relief
after a loved one is lost on the battlefield.
Two
months ago the SOS Fund got on the "bandwagon", so to speak,
of the wristband/bracelet novelty phenomenon. The SOS Fund has designed
its own wristband; a desert camouflage wristband, and began the "Wear
Camo!" Desert Camouflage Wristband Campaign. Currently the SOS
Fund's "Wear Camo!" campaign is sweeping the nation and is
quickly becoming one of the most popular wristbands in America, raising
valuable funds for the families of the troops killed in The War on Terror.
We
are now entering into the next phase of our mission; the "Statues
of Servicemen" campaign. The purpose of this campaign is to provide
a permanent memorial for each and every fallen hero. A 7' bronze statue,
designed just for these fallen heroes, will be presented to each family
to be placed in a public area of their community. In addition, we will
provide a miniaturized version of the memorial for the family to keep
in their home.
As
always, if you would prefer to simply make a cash donation to the SOS
Fund you can do so by going to our
donate page and donating directly.
